PCSAs

The interactive map and tables below display data for Alabama physicians, aggregated by Primary Care Service Area (PCSA). There are 79 PCSAs, each centered at a point in a community with significant medical resources. Often this point is a general admissions hospital. The PCSA consists of the region of the state that is closer to that center point than any other, as measured by the Alabama road network.
