Census School District Areas are geographic boundaries of public school districts, which the US Census Bureau collects and provides to support demographic analysis and spatial needs. The boundaries of school districts are updated annually through the School District Review Program (SDRP). Each of Alabama's 67 counties has a district, and in addition there are 72 city school districts and two military school districts.
The map and table below give geographic data on Alabama's 141 School District Areas. For the Low Grade field, KG refers to kindergarten and PK to pre-kindergarten. The land and water areas are given in square miles.
