Binomial Timeline Experiment

Description

The random experiment consists of performing \(n\) Bernoulli trials, each with probability of success \(p\). The successes are recorded as red dots and the failures as green dots on a timeline marked from 1 to \(n\). Random variable \(Y\) denotes the number of successes and has the binomial distribution with parameters \(n\) and \(p\). Random variable \(M = Y / n\) denotes the proportion of successes and has a scaled version of the binomial distribution. These variables are recorded in the data table, and the distribution of the selected variable is described in the distribution graph and table. The parameters \(n\) and \(p\) can be varied with scrollbars.
